PROGRAM NOTES
G.LiTCH is an exploration of the disconnect between the waking and dreaming worlds. It juxtaposes periods of spacious meditation against moments of uncomfortable, breathy noise, building tension until eventually - inexorably - the piece explodes into a relentless groove.
Commissioned by Ben Vasko. Premiered at the International Tuba/Euphonium Conference in Valencia, Spain (June 2025).
